Regenerate several files doesn't work

Hi

I'm working on Windows 2000, TeamSite 6.1.0 without any Service Pack.

I have a TPL like this (very reduced):

When I'm trying to regenerate (Actions > Regenerate) a unique file, the process works but when I'm trying to regenerate (check two or more files and select Actions > Regenerate) two or more files, the proccess doesn't work and seems to be in a loop.

My original TPL has a lot of functions and HTML but the only thing that breaks my proccess is the Teamsite: Smiley Very Happy

CRNode package.

Someone has the same problem or knows how to avoid it?

This sounds like a bug (based solely on your description) with the implementation of the menu item for regeneration - where it might not be looping through the files selected in the UI correctly when processing each one. Have you contacted Support with a reproduciable case? If not, I'd strongly suggest you try to put together a very simple case/scenario that they can use to reproduce the problem in-house.

I'm working in a reproducible scenario but it is very closely to the example. In other project I had the same problem but I think that was an interlocking of Oracle due to the connection via DBD: Smiley Surprised

racle, but in this project I haven't that connection and I found the problem in TeamSite: Smiley Very Happy

I'm making a CGI to regenerate pages calling ot iwregen for each file selected, this allways works fine and avoid problems but it is more expensive on resources and time.

We saw something similar to this on TS 6.1 SP1 (win2k) as well. We can manually regenerate up to 4 files in the UI, however, if you select 5 or more files and click regenerate, the UI goes into a loop and never returns control back to the UI. Do you see this behavior as well? I don't think we ever started a support case on this but it was puzzling. Maybe IW should open this as a possible bug. Let me know if you have any further questions.

There is no much difference between generate and regenerate except that regenerate is a loop for multiple files, so I suspect the problem may be in Teamsite: Smiley Very Happy

Yes, the problem is TeamSite: Smiley Very Happy

CRNode. If my TPL doesn't include this package, the regeneration procces for "n" files works well.

In TeamSite 6.1 without any SP, the regeneration proccess for "normal" TPLs works well. No matter the number of files you regenerate.

I see the same behaviour but only if I include the TeamSite: Smiley Very Happy

CRNode package in a <iwperl> tag.
