Automate the process of creating a branch etc

Gidday all,

Is it possible to write a script to automate the process of creating a branch and default subfolders. Our initial pilot will see us creating sites for 5 institutes thats five branches but in the future their will be as many as 15 branches. I'd like to script the creation of a branch. Has anyone done this, can you steer me in the write direction.

well, in the migration toolikt that came from IWOV (for 5-5.5.2 migration), there were a couple of scripts that would replicate workarea structure.

in any case, RTFM could also help. especially look at the command like iwmkbr & iwmkwa

Using OpenAPI, I made a Java program, that copied the structure and files from one server to another, at the sametime creating local groups and assigning them to the new branch and workareas.
Today, I would have done this using ContentServices on TS +5.5.2
