Hi,
I have recently upgrdaded to TS61 from TS60.
My pages and menu options contain Danish and German characters.
With new Perl these characters are blocked out i.e. junk characters are displayed instead of actual character.
My presentation template contains following code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<iw_pt name="lpg_menu Presentation Template" encoding='UTF-8'>
<iw_perl><
ath qw/mkpath/;
use IO::File;
my ($ctl1,$ctl2,$ctl3,$ct)=(0,0,0,1);
my %dests=();
my %dims=();
my %menuimage=();
my $basedir=iwpt_get_ofile_name('dirname');
my $tempbasedir = $basedir;
until(basename($basedir) eq 'work' or $basedir eq 'main') {
$basedir=dirname($basedir);
}
mkpath("$basedir/javascript") unless(-d "$basedir/javascript");
mkpath("$basedir/ssi") unless(-d "$basedir/ssi");
my $homestring=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.HomeString');
my $pagedes=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.PageDescription');
my $pagekey=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.PageKeyWords');
my $loginstring=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.LoginString');
my $registerstring=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.RegisterString');
my $titlestring=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.TitleString');
my $TrackerString=iwpt_dcr_value('dcr.TrackerString');
# find my region - OLD WAY COMMENTED OUT
#$basedir=~/Intranet[\\\/]([^\\\/]+)/;
#my $region=$1;
#--Find leaf branch name (Region)
$basedir =~ m#.*\\([^\\]+)\\WORKAREA.*#ig;
my $region=$1;
iwpt_output("<br>BASEDIR = $basedir <br>REGION=$region <br> TEMPBASE=$tempbasedir <br>TESTREGION=$testRegion<br>\n");
mkpath("$basedir/ssi/$region") unless(-d "$basedir/ssi/$region");
# get the Common dir - OLD WAY COMMENTED OUT
#my $commondir=$basedir;
#until(basename($commondir) eq 'Intranet') {
# $commondir=dirname($commondir);
#}
#--Find root leaf branch path
my $commondir;
$basedir =~ m#(.*)\\([^\\]+)\\WORKAREA(.*)#;
$commondir=$1;
$commondir.='/Common/STAGING';
iwpt_output("<br>BASEDIR1 = $basedir <br>REGION1=$region <br> TEMPBASE1=$tempbasedir <br>TESTCOMMON1=$testCommon<br>\n");
iwpt_output("Common dir is $commondir<br>\n");
What do I need to change to make my template work with new version of Perl?
Please help.
Regards,
Vallari
