Get Latest Not Triggering DataDeploy

Hi Everyone,

We have TS 6 with OD/DD 6. We use metadata heavily on our site and rely on DAS and the Event Subsystem to keep our workareas in synch with the workarea metadata tables in the database. Metadata successfully gets deployed to the database when it is applied to a file using the tag action of teamsite. Metadata does not get deployed to the workarea tables in the database when doing a get latest.

For example, if I am in the workarea eComm and do a getlatest, a file that is new xys.html may be pulled into the workarea. The metadata for the file never gets deployed to the workarea table in the database. It is as if the update event is not triggering an update to the workarea table.

Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know how to fix this? I have been unable to locate anything in documentation.
