Hi,I tried your approach of using <wfvarfinishop op="set" name="cbval" value="1"/>..but adding this tag in the user task and dummy task results in a error starting workflow job.If I remove this tag there is no error.Any idea what might be wrong.ThanksSantosh
You are trying to use a single externaltask definition - yes? How about having each grouptask use the wfvarfinishop attribute to set the callback value for the externaltask script? Something like this:<workflow ...> <variables> <variable key="cbval" value=""/> </variables> ... <grouptask name="grp1" ... > ... <wfvarfinishop op="set" name="cbval" value="1"/> ... </grouptask> <grouptask name="grp2" ... > ... <wfvarfinishop op="set" name="cbval" value="2"/> ... </grouptask> <grouptask name="grp3" ... > ... <wfvarfinishop op="set" name="cbval" value="3"/> ... </grouptask> <externaltask ...> ... </externaltask> ...</workflow>Then the externaltask can do something like this:...my($jobid, $taskid) = @ARGV;my $task = new TeamSite::WFtask($taskid);my $job = new TeamSite::WFworkflow($jobid);...$task->CallBack($job->GetVariable("cbval"), "Done");--fishSenior Consultant, Quotient Inc.http://www.quotient-inc.com
Hi,Im using TS 6.5, Win2k server.There are 2 user tasks for approver1 and approver2.I've used the following code in both the user tasks<wfvarfinishop op="set" name="fop_reviewer" value="__INSERT__($Approver1);"/>and <wfvarfinishop op="set" name="fop_reviewer" value="__INSERT__($Approver2);"/>respectivelyIn the next external task, im getting the approver name by referring $approverName =$job->GetVariable('fop_reviewer');Approver 1 and 2 tasks are connected to the external task by "OR" . If the external task is activated either by approver1 or approver2, the job variable fop_reviewer always has the value of the approver1 name.Has anybody encountered similar problem or am i doing something wrong in using the "wfvarfinishop"?
