XML modified by SYSTEM

Our users in 6.1 use CC standard, and use the method of editing the XML file, which opens the corresponding DCR file to edit and generate their files. This eliminates the browsing effect, and allows them to start a WF with both files attached automatically.

However, we are running into problems, when a user wants to make a lot of changes to many files and not start a workflow right away, instead using the WIP to see the files they have changed and to workflow later. When a users edits the XML, genterates it and simply closes out instead of going through the wizard, the DCR will show up in the users WIP, but NOT the XML file. The XML file shows modified by SYSTEM, therefore, not showing up in the users WIP.

Anyway to force the XML to show as modified by the users that actually, you know...modified it?

Did you ever get this solved? I have a similar issue in post:

And as Samir pointed out the modified by is not a system attribute, but appears to be a TS one, so if you've had any luck let me know.
