I use URI::esacpe and its function uri_escape a lot, especially in CGI scripts, in particular in file browse callout, etc.
While porting the callout to 6.1 I've noticed that, apart from area_path containing server name (which is teamsite's annoyance), uri_escape encodes everything, including some characters that are required to pass CGI parameters (say, & and = and ?) . I used to pass the whole string and it was Ok, but this time I had to rework the string so special characters were not encoded
anybody noticed this as well? if not, this is a warning
