deleting dcr's on submit

When submitting a deleted, generated file to staging, is there a means by which I can identify and delete the associated dcr as part of the workflow.? When users delete files, not only do they forget to submit it, but they leave an orphaned dcr behind in templatedata...

Have an externaltask check the EAs on the file with iwextattr to get the PrimaryDCR and the DataType. Put a file path together from those and the workarea, unlink it, and attach the hole to the workflow.
