Database element removed from datacapture6.0 DTD?

Can anyone explain to me the reason why the database element was removed from the Datacapture6.0 DTD? When I look at the datacapture5.0 DTD, the Item element has the following available:

<!ELEMENT item (label?, description?, database?, (checkbox | radio | text | textarea | select | replicant | browser | readonly | hidden)+)>

When I look at the 6.0 DTD, it has the following:

<!ELEMENT item (label?, description?, (checkbox | radio | text | textarea | select | browser | readonly | hidden)+)>
