Open DCR in edit mode from DCR and cgi

Hi,
I will devide my requirement in two part.
I)
I have some content (DCR) attached in one of my content (DCR).
Now I want to give functionality to user so author can directly open that dcr in edit mode by single click in opened dcr without traversing to workarea and do regular activity.

II)
The second requirement is for functionality we providing from Custom menu item which will execute cgi and output having list of dcr.
Now we want to provide functionality so author can directly open listed dcr in edit mode by single click.

try using URL commands. I have not tried, though, in this context, but it should work....

edit was available as a CCI command before 6.1, that's right.

I had posted something similar a little while ago. TS 5.5.2 supports 10 URLs to trigger some commonly-used actions including edit. Here is the KB describing the available options and another discussion thread that solves a problem related to the edit URL.

You can try something like the following.
Pls note that it has been tested for 5.5.2 only.

--- Part I ---
a) Create a button in your DCR for the Content Contributor to click

b) Call CCI Edit in your form API

thanx for your efforts.
The problem get solved using CCI URLs, The Knowledge Base Article 48945 is good enough for TS 5.5.2.
I gone through some more Article, I found them interesting for same scenario.
