Failed to connect to host

Hi,

Setup : Unix, TeamSite 5.5.2SP3, MetaTagger 3.5.1

Just installed MT Studio on the local desktop (Win2k professional), as per the steps in the the documentation & our Metatagger setup. While trying to connect it is giving following error.

Failed to connect to host "localhost:9096"

Any ideas why this is happening?

Uhm - localhost:9096 indicates that it is trying to connect to port 9096 on the local host (duh) - which seems wrong if you've installed Studio on your client machine - you would need to make sure it connected to port 9096 on the MT (/ TS) server rather than localhost.

Can you find where the setting for localhost[:9096] is coming from on the client side MT Studio and see if you can change "localhost" to the name or IP address of your TS server?

localhost get selected by default I think to work offline, change the seletion to your Studio server from the dropdown
