I need my template generate 2 output files with different extensions (html and xml), is it possible ?

Absolutely. Check out the <iw_ostream> PT tag. This tag allows you to redirect the enclosed output and output resulting the enclosed code to an alternate output file. When using this tag, it doesn't care what extension your output file has.

Another option is just to use a second TPL, one which creates.htm files and the other creates .xml files.
