Displaying Flash in Preview

Greetings,

We are having problems getting SWF files to display in our previews (when referenced by a presentation template). It seems to hang.

After searching these forums and speaking with my Solaris admins, we use a self-installed instance of Apache to serve up pages on the TS box and we use the Interwoven-included application server (Tomcat) to serve up previews.

But, an interwoven rep just told me that this could not be the case (apparently, he thought we should have a separate instance of Tomcat doing the previews).

Is this the case? Do most users install separate app servers for TS?

(also, if you know how to get the SWF files to show, I'd appreciate it....setting mime types on both Apache and in the Tomcat web.xml files have not helped)

No, but I wonder if he told you that because IW possibly does not support SWF? I'm not saying they don't (great opportunity for Lissa to break in!), but what do your log files tell you when you try to access the SWF's via preview?
