VFE Customization

In a VFE (specifically, visualformatconfig.xml), I have a list of characters that are inserted into the HTML... for instance:


                <listchoice command="cmdchr169">copyright</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr134">dagger</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr189">one-half</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr133">ellipses</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr151">mdash</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr150">ndash</listchoice>
                <listchoice command="cmdchr160">nbsp</listchoice>

I'm wondering how to make any of these characters a superscript. I've toyed around with ewebeditproevents.js and I'm convinced that it's there, but I haven't gotten it to work so far.

If memory serves, I think all I had to do was something like the following:

but cant' trap the events on the list box any share on how you trapped events on list box added to visual format

Well, there's another part to it. That's all you need to do in visualformatconfig.xml, but you need to also edit ewebeditpro.js. There's some documentation on that, so I recommend reading that first, but if I wanted to insert a superscript trademark, for instance (which, I suppose is somehow different from &trade Smiley Wink

, you would create a function named according to the function declared in visualformatconfig.xml and your function would have the following line:


 eWebEditPro.instances[sEditorName].asyncCallMethod("pasteHTML", ['<sup><small>TM</small></sup>'], null, new Function());
