TeamSite OD & Akamai

Hi all,

I am right now designing a new architecture for a press release system and have to integrate Akamai to it.
The idea is to use OD to deploy directly to Akamai - I heard that OD 6.0 is able to do that.

Question 1 would be:
Does OD 6.0 is really able to deploy files directly to Akamai? haven't read anything in the KB or in the RN about it....

Question 2 would be:
If Question 1 can be answered with "yes", here would be the "how to do it?"

Is anyone out there who could get back to me on this? I would appreciate any help.

Akamai has OpenDeploy receiver support in their network. So you should be able to contact them directly for details, such as what target address to use in your deployments.

thanks for the quick reply.
Now the question would be, if we are using ESI includes to have includes files published instantly on the Akamai network, if they also work during TeamSite preview.

We have to test that.

Did you ever get around to deploying files directly to Akamai servers with OpenDeploy 6.x? Did you deploy to Akamai's NetStorage servers?

If so, how did it work out? OK?

Were you able to deploy to Akamai Net storage using OD? Trying to see if that is an option?
