Injecting Metatags

I am tasked with injecting Metatags into generated content at the end of a workflow, after the user has reviewed and updated system generated External Attribute based metadata. I tried to use iwmetatag but it seems not to work.

Any ideas?

If it's generated content - why don't you handle the metatags during the generation process within the PT code (have it check for the EAs on the DCR and add them as metatags to the generated output) or something like that - then after all the reviews have been passed all you need to do is re-generate the content to ensure that the metatags within are up-to-date with respect to whatever changes might have been made to the metadata.

Of course, the above only works if you assume that all metadata is set on the DCR and either copied or not to the generated files. If you are setting distinct EAs on each of the generated files, you would have to generate the files first, set the EAs and then either adjust the generated contents or do something similar to the above but do so by having your PT retrieve all the EAs from the target file first, and then use that in re-generating the content.
