Metatagger enabled fields
motlnt
I have some metatagger enabled fields in my Metatagger UI (they are tied to a vocabulary). Can we put the filter on these fileds not to populate the metatagger enabled fileds by parsing the document depending on its file type( i.e. i dont want these metatagger enabled fileds to be pre-popluated for files with extension .exe or .zip).
What does MT do internally to handle such type of files??..Does it just check the extension or MIME type of the document and open the MT UI with empty metatagger enabled fields for zip or exe files. For all other decodable documents, it parses the document and automatically popluates the values in metatagger enabled fields.
Thanx.

Try setting up two different rules in your datacapture.cfg (i.e. Vocab and NonVocab). Then in the metadata-rules.cfg create a regex that catches .exe and .zip files and forwards those onto the "NonVocab" form. Then create another regex that catches every other type of file and forwards that on to the "Vocab". I've never tried this but in theory it seems like it should work.
