xhtml validation tools

Hi everyone,

We are updating our content types to output XHTML and therefore need a way to find and update DCRs that contain HTML in them to XHTML compliance.
Can you please recommend a tool(s), process and documentation that we can use to audit and update/correct DCRs that are non compliant.

I haven't tried any of this stuff out - but a quick search via Google turned up http://www.vanfossenpro.com/learn/web/validate.html which looks like it might have some of the information you're looking for.

Note: I'm not sure how easy it will be to perform the validation in the DCR (perhaps using FormAPI?) - it might be easier (with generic overhead) to adjust such code within the PT processing stage.
