Workspaces

System

Can anybody recommend the best place to go for information about creating Workspaces and Workspace Templates. There's very little information around to tell you what you should think about when designing them.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, or suggest some white papers etc - then I would be grateful.

If you're referring to the WorkSite 8.0 version, and if you're looking for code example on how to create a workspace object, pleas see technote #52645:
http://devnet.interwoven.com/site.fcgi/techlib/52645

If you would like to know how to programmatically create a workspace template, you may use the code example in the above technote. The two differences are:

1. The IManWorkspace.Subtype should be set as "template"
2. The IManWorkspace profile will not apply; that is ignore the part of the code example where profile is set.
