Database Info for TS 6.5 Search

We are upgrading tot TS 6.5 to provide our end users with 6.5's search capabilities. I have been unsuccessful in getting the following questions answered from Interwoven. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Regarding the database needed for search:

1.) Does the oracle 9i database require partitioning?
2.) If the vendor has a database template (.dbt), that would be very helpful. Otherwise, we need to know how to configure the database (features, memory, components).
3.) We need to know sizing information. How big does the database need to be? What formula can we use to calculate the amount of disk space that will be needed for the database?
