Hi
I'm investigating how to provide an e-mail search that allows users to search for emails that have attachments in them.
Looking in the object model, there are a number of references to properties such as 'HasAttachments', objects such as NRTAttachment and attributes such as 'imProfileHasAttachment'.
Has anyone any idea how to incorporate these into a search facility, or a pointer to some documentation on the topic?
Thanks,
Steve

There isn't a way to search for e-mail documents with attachments in a single API call. The attributeID imProfileHasAttachment is not a searchable ID. The HasAttachment Property, which is off of the document object, returns a boolean value to indicate whether or not a document has an attachment.
The next best thing is to narrow your search results as much as possible using all the available searchable attributeID (that apply to you). Then, iterate through the results collection to check each item via the HasAttachment Property (or the GetAttributeByID(imProfileHasAttachment) Method.
