Hi, We are in the process of developing a CMS for a static website. In terms of design, everything looks easy except the navigation bar.
We have a left hand side navigation bar that contains links to static pages of the website. Now if i need to add a new page to the website and its corresponding link to the left nav, then it becomes necessary to regenerate all the pages so that each page will have the correct left nav.
I dont want to do that. i want to keep the leftnav portion isolated from the other static pages.
One option was to use frames and to place the leftnav content on a seperate .html file. but business does not wants to use frames.
Any suggestions abt how to do this?
