Hidding Workflow Attached Files

Is there anyway I can hide file(s) added to a task from a user?
Certain generated files are only added to WF for submission. They are automatically generated and I do not want to expose these files to the user.

Well, you could try generating/adding them later in the workflow process - after all the usertasks are completed, or you could create a forked path in your workflow process, add those files to the other side of the fork and then bring them all together before the end of the process.

I'll add to what fish has said - I have seen a similar requrement, but from a different angle - say we want DCRs and some other navigation SSI files to be submitted, but not tagged - so, to overcome this issue I've decided to write them in a temp file, detach from a workflow and re-attach them back. before the submit task.

Hi Professor,

At certain stages in a workflow I will remove files from the workflow write their names to a temp file and re attach them later prior to submission. You create a workflow variable to hold the name of the temp file. I have two external tasks that perform this operation, one writes out the files and removes them from the workflow files, the other reads the filenames back in and attaches them to the workflow. I find this an important step because it removes non relevant fiels from a task so as to not confuse users.
