xml parser

Hi All-

Anyone know of an XML parser (or if TeamSite XML: Smiley Tongue

arser) can parse the following document:

Another stumbling block. The document is random, the tuoples are always in the same order, so therefore I can rely on

data-tuple[0].tuple-field[0] to eq the same thing everytime...

essentially, i want to be able to get the value based on the name attrbiute. this shouldn't be too difficult??

If I recall correctly, DCRParser/XMLParser only partially supports the XPath idea of attribute addressing. In other words,something like this would get you the value of the name attribute of that node:

$rootnode->value('data-tuple[0].tuple-field[0]@name');

but, I don't think you can do anything like
$mynode = $rootnode->getNode('data-tuple.tuple-field@name=foo');
$mynode->value();

However, you could put the nodes into a hash keyed by the value of the name attribute and then pull the node you want from your hash. Alternatively, you could go for a more robust XML Parsing module like XML: Smiley Very Happy
