Color Selection in Template
Lex
Environment: TS5.5.2 SP5, Win2K Server
Has anyone incorporated an HTML color selector into a template? If so, do you mind sharing your solution? Thanks!

what do you mean? in textarea field or where else?
if it's just a CGI callout, it takes probably a couple of hours to make one with a code off the net

Sorry, I didn't explain the use very well. There are some elements of a web page that can have different background colors. I'd like to provide a popup to allow the user to select the color for these elements. It would be nice to have the popup be similar to the one FrontPage or VS.Net gives you for selecting colors, but I only care about the web palette. Anyway, I will probably end up rolling my own, but I thought this seemed like a common design element so I was hoping to save a bit of time and reuse someone's solution.

well, I have not seen one,
but whu don't you just borrow a selector from internet -
e.g.
http://www.iacta.com/BrowserTests/script/color.htm
and wrap it in a callout. relatively easy

Not a bad idea. I can adapt what's there to work on an internal popup. Thanks for the link!

sure. I just got one off the first that google has supplied. I am sure there are more.
good luck. A hint - you might use IWOV's calendar CGI callout for a sample of Javascript that will return the code back to the form.
