Some time ago we pieced together a document (see attached ) for our site describing how to use Putty on a remote PC to set up an SSH tunnel from that PC, through an SSH server, to our TS server(s) and make it possible to then run a browser on the local machine and communicate with the TS server that was otherwise protected from outside access.
Well - I really prefer using my Mac to using my PC, but there's no Putty for the Mac. There is, however, SSH; and it would seem to me that whatever Putty is doing on the PC to establish the tunnel I should be able to do with plain-old-ssh just as well .... if I knew what the full command line was supposed to look like! (I can't seem to find anywhere in Putty where I can get it to show me the command its executing to set things up).
So - I'm hoping some SSH-savvy person out here might be able to provide me with the command-line equivalent to the Putty settings shown in the attached document. [* the attached document has had to be significantly gutted of images in order to make it small enough to be uploaded to DevNet - sorry - If you want a copy of the full-size document, send me a message with your email]
