Actual Branch Size

Anyone know how to properly calculate the actual size of a branch, including editions? We are on 5.01 Unix, and if i check the file size on the branch, it counts the same file in all the editions as the full size file, and not the size of the pointer. I want it to calculate the file size and pointer file sizes to give me an "actual" branch size.

Unfortunately I have been told by Support that there is no accurate calculation on the size of individual branches. There is a Knowledgebase article that details a method to roughly estimate the physical disk space utilized by a single branch that you would have to ask but it's not much help. If you're interested you'll have to request it from Support as it's an internal article. I did not find it very helpful personally.
