Exception Error Mismatch

I have a problem with a particular user who keeps getting templating errors. No other users have reported the problem, but once it occurs all users can see it. I have tried to get him to tell us what he is doing prior to the error occuring but he always claims he hasn't done anything Smiley Wink

Anyway - the error is: Templating Error Page. An exception was thrown: Content mismatch between the data capture object "rootContainer/repPlanInfo" and DCR object "rootContainer/0/repPlanInfo".

It looks like a problem with the replicants in the file.

Has anyone come across something similar and/or have an idea what to do about it?

we have had this problem in the past, if i remember correctly it is caused by the following:

1) a DCR is saved based on one version of a DCT
2) That DCT is changed in its structure so that nested replicants or sections no longer match the previous DCT replicant structure.
3) A user edits the original DCR using the modified DCT, the content structures no longer match up and you get that error "Content Mismatch.."

The way we fixed it was to manually edit the DCR's XML, and restructure the XML to fit the new DCT structure. (this can be tricky!)

Also this one user could have the incorrect browser settings to the point that they have an old version of the DCT. I believe that the proper settings for IE in the General -> Settings sub form is "Every Visit to Page" not automatically which can cause problems.

Someone correct me if this is the wrong setting please

Many thanks for your suggestions - we have previously fixed the problem by editing the XML directly. I'll give it a go and see if we can fix the problem permanently.
