Trusted Domains (windows)

I created a trust between MY_DOMAIN and NEW_DOMAIN. Now I want to add users from NEW_DOMAIN to TeamSite as Authors. In the Admin Interface I type in their NEW_DOMAIN\username and I get nothing. Is there something I need to do to make my TeamSite machine see the new shared domain?

Do you have both MY_DOMAIN and NEW_DOMAIN listed in "domain_list" of your /etc/iw.cfg file? Try adding the user's NEW_DOMAIN\username in the author.uid file manually and see if the user is recognized when TeamSite comes up and the user able to log in?
