IManExt.SearchCmd crash

I'm using the imanext com objects from VC++. In particular I'm using the search dialog (IManExt.SearchCmd).

Everything works great, except when running in the debugger. When I use the debugger, it appears that something crashes in the imanext dll. Everything seems just fine when I just run my app, but in the debugger it crashes. It appears that somewhere it is freeing memory twice.

The crash happens on a seperate thread from the one I'm running my code on. I wonder if it is a UI thread in imanext.

Has anyone else seen wierd stuff like this?
