Calling Web Services from Metadata Capture

Env:TS 6.1/Win2K/sp1

I know that you can use inline commands with checkboxes, dropdowns and radio buttons, however I need to call a web service and pre-populate a text input in the metadata capture ui (iwmetadata.cgi).

Any suggestions?

inline callouts work for metadata capture template as for DCTs. What is your issue? Maybe you just need to try?

I would think you would have to write your own script.
That will use callback to return the results of the web service query.
