file permssions in iw-home/httpd/iw-bin

Hi,
Could any one please specify which of the files in iw-home/httpd/iw-bin should have root access. I have struck with a serious problem as none of the teamsite users are able to login in webdesk/webdeskpro. The username/pwd are working in telnet.
Are there any files in iw-home/httpd/iw-bin directory, which need some special permissions???????

Did you change permission on iw-bin or any files within ? I wouldn't want to change the permissions on iw-home from the defaults created by install.

Are the users listed in the IWHOME/conf/roles/*.uid files correctly?

Is this a recent problem from a pre-existing installation - or a new installation?

What version of TeamSite (including patches and service packs)?
What platform is the TeamSite server (including OS version, patches, service packs, etc.)
