Hi Look at my Open deploy config file. I am trying run a bat file copy_file.bat in target server, (In my case source and target are thje same only testing)
copy_file.bat --- copy E:\TeamSite\OpenDeploy\tmp\a.html E:\TeamSite\OpenDeploy\tmp\b.html
I t does not copy a to b. Why this bat file is not running,.

Does the deployment itself touch the file you're trying to copy?
Does the source log file complain that it had trouble starting the DNR script?
Try setting async="no". This will force the deployment to wait for the DNR to finish before proceeding. (Not sure it will make a difference, but at least things will proceed serially until you figure out what's wrong.)

Apparently there were two threads on this - and you answered part of it. The specification for dnrDeploymentJob in the DTD and in the manual states that location can only be "source".
