TeamSite Area based filter for files

Dear All,

Following is my TeamSite EA-to-XML configuration file for metadata deployment.

I want to discard (i.e filter out) all the "pdf" files for one workarea but would like to keep all the "pdf" files from other workareas ( see bolded text above).
as per my understanding ,the current settings will discard all the "pdf" files from metadata deployment which certainly, i don't want.
The path for files within the filelist , for all the workarea starts with "^SL3/..." .
I would like to know , any configuration needed in above DD config file to accomplish my objective.

Any quick help/suggestions will be appreciated.
