Native Metadata

Hi,

I have some fields like Title, Keywords which i am extracting as Native Metadata from the document.

It works fine for PDF documents but does not work for any other type of document.

Does native metadata extract work for Excel, Word, Powerpoint?

Two questions - what version of MetaTagger and TeamSite are you running and what versions of Office are you extracting native properties from?

Do you see any native metadata when you run iwmtconverter

ex:
iwmtconverter -metadata filename
MetaTagger displays the text of the document, followed by the names and values of all native
metadata elements. For example, MetaTagger might display the following metadata elements for a
Microsoft Word document:
NativeMD: CodePage 1252
NativeMD: Title “Q4 Marketing Outlook: Executive Summary”
NativeMD: Author “John Smith”
...

Also sent your metatagger.cfg and datacapture.cfg files.
