Browse to sub-branch

Hi,

I have the following branch structure:

branch1
sub-branch1 of branch1
workarea1 of branch1
templatedata of branch1

Here within the parent branch, workarea/templatedata/category/item/datacapture.cfg i have a browse Item. This needs to refer a folder in the sub-branch.

Is this possible. Do let me know please.

The Version is Teamsite 5.5.2 on Solaris 8

And there is a correction, From Datacapture.cfg - browse we need to browse folders from 1 sub-branch to another sub-branch.

Eg:

Main branch
sub-branch1 - templatedata/category/item/datacapture.cfg - to
sub-branch2 - content/asset/sub-folders

So here from sub-branch1 datacapture.cfg i need to link files in sub-branch2 sub-folders. I hope i have not confused Smiley Happy

Hi Meha

The standard browse tag will only browse within the current workarea.

However in this technote you can find a custom implementation that Greg has provided that sounds like it might meet your needs.
