Access Service

Hi all,

I have a fresh install of TS 6.1 and OD 6.0 on sol8. Attemping to login into the OD Gui produces
the follwoing errors:

su88sr3_odadmin_servletd.log:Unable to load Access Service session for host=su88sr3; port=9173; transport=http;
su88sr3_odadmin_servletd.log: Reason: Failed to locate Access Service, ; nested exception is:
su88sr3_odadmin_servletd.log:LOADED AUTHENTICATOR com.interwoven.opendeploy.ui.ODAccessSvcAuthen[ com.interwoven.opendeploy.ui.ODAccessSvcSession [ host=su88sr3; port=9173; transport=http;]]

any help sorting this will be greatly appreciated and some good swiss chocolate could be in order. Smiley Happy

Check if CSF service running ?

If you installed the OD admin package and CSF on the same host with default values, then no further configuration should be required. But if you changed port values during installation, or if CSF is on a different host, you need to do some manual configuration for the admin server to find the CSF access service.

The other thing to check is that the selected server on the login screen is a valid OD base server that is up and running. By default, localhost is listed and assumes the OD base server is installed on the same host as the admin server.

So, if all three things are installed on the same host (CSF access service, OD admin server, OD base server), then double check that they are all up and running.

Also make sure you are logging in for the first time using the bootstrap user. If installed on Windows, then enter the username as domain\user.

CSF=ContentServicesFoundation. Todd covered this in tihe OD6 intro, and there are white papers on it. You might want to check out the OD6 page here on DevNet for more information:

Note also when you download OD6 from the support site (base server, receiver, admin package), you'll see CSF there as well.
