Ivoking a dynamic workflow
System
Hello,
Is it possible to start a dynamic workflow from command line.
I've a workflow which can be started on 'Submit' action.
The workflow template contains some perl code to retrieve such info as username, area owner, attached file list etc.
Is it possible to start such a workflow from command line?
I need to trigger this workflow on an external event.
TIA
-Ashish

Most anything is possible - and if you do a bit of work on your own to search through the forums you should be able to find several more detailed posts describing how to do this and with which CLT. Of course if you had bothered to include your version of TS and platform information - it might save a number of people from guessing as to whether or not you have the CLT that provides this functionality or whether you'd have to do things the "hard way".
Basically you have to have a way to supply the dynamic information at the time you are attempting to invoke the workflow -- you're not going to be able to invoke it from the command line and have it pop-up a regular job instantiation form for you.

Hi,
If you are talking about executing workflow using wft file, Then use TeamSite::WFtemplate package.
If you want to use job description file, use command line tool for compiling/executing workflow.
