initiatorProperties question

Was the use of <initiatorProperties> carried over to version 6.0.1 of OpenDeploy? The reason I ask is that there is mention of this as an odbase/odrcvr option, but does not descibe it's use as it has done before in the admin guide of 5.5.1. Basically, I really would like to know how 6.01 deals with multiple requests to invoke the same deployment, if things have changed since 5.5.1. Thanks
