Regex Help

Environment: TS5.5.2, OS-w2k

writting a script to replace "<a href=" value all html files over a workarea. Opening the html and doing a find and replace. Just wondering if there is any other best way to do it. If this method is ok, need regex help.

I'm wondering why you're escaping the <> signs, but your statement could look like this:


${_} =~ s|<a href="([^"]+)"|<a href="/****/Temp/$1"|gi;

This assumes that your <a> tags' entities always start with href (as opposed to onClick or name or something else appearing before "href". I figured you wanted the $1 in there, which is replaced with what was matched in-between ( ) in the match part of the regex.
