HOw can I use the JSP tags in my templates and can I make them work in the preview?

For example in my code
<%if (dnav != null && dnav.equals("rp")){%>
DISPLAY SOMETHING
<%}else{%>

DISPLAY SOMETHING WRONG <%}%>

Your custom web server would have to point to a web server that knows how to deal with JSP pages. TomCat, etc. TeamSite relies on what it refers to as the "customer web server" to render the pages. The "default" web server is IIS on Windows, and Apache on Solaris. Neither knows how to deal with JSP pages.

You'll need to configure a servlet engine, and then have it map to the TeamSite IFS.
