custom Metadata as a Mandatory Field?

Friends,
How can I make a custom Metadata as a Mandatory Field?
For Example,
I have a following Custom Metadata.
Product No
Product Name
Category Name
Price
Etc …
And I have added few custom Metadata to a group ,based on the project requirement.
For example Metadata Group Name “GGW” as following Custom metadata
1. Product Name
2. Category name
3. Price
Need to make “Price” as a mandatory field for the Metadata Group “GGW”.
Is it possible?.

The normal technique for making a metadata field mandatory is to create an insertion task using the metadata adder and setting the price as a mandatory runtime parameter (you can set up other fields while you are at it either mandatory or optional). Note that in this circumstance "optional" simply means that a default value gets entered whle mandatory means that the UI accepts no defaults and the user has to specify something.

Thanks a lot for the nice information
I tried the above and got the result as expected.

Problem is,
I am planning to have the entire asset in source container and move(create reference) the asset from source container to different projects (destinations container) and I have created one Boolean custom metadata called “Publishing status” to decide online, offline status.
Each projects Admin as to input all the metadata and make the “Publishing status” as online. In this case I need to make few metadata as mandatory (like price), that is the project admin should not leave Metadata blank and make “Publishing status” as online.

Hope you can understand the above and suggest me to do in best way
