Web CMS (TeamSite)
Only CC - Pro
nipper
Customer does not want the option of cc-std just to default to cc-pro. Been perusing the
admin guide as well as the UI configuration guide & the best thing I can come up with is a
URL they can use to go to cc-pro, but it does not disable cc-std.
Any ideas ?

Andy, there is no way to disable it
what one could probably do - to disable the portlets in CC STD and put a link to CC PRO (just kidding)...

You can hack the login.jsp page directly, it's not supported. Every time after you install a TeamSite patch, you need to merge your change in.

Can you post the details of this hack ?

I meant that you can hack the login.jsp code to HIDE the ccstd option from the login in page. Not to DISABLE the ccstd. If you type in the ccstd link directly, you will still be able to get to it. I agree that there is no way to DISABLE (shut down) ccstd.

Can you post what exactly you chagned in login.jsp to hide the ccstd option ? Or your login.jsp file which has this hack ?

/** the currently selected ui **/
//String selectedUI = null; /* commented this line out */
String selectedUI = "ccpro"; /* add this line */
/** does the user get to choose? **/
//boolean uiChoiceIsFixed = false; /* comment this line out */
boolean uiChoiceIsFixed = true; /* add this line */
//String uiParam = request.getParameter( WhichUIContext.WHICH_UI_PARAM); /* comment this line out */
String uiParam = "ccpro"; /* add this line */

Jane, any idea which one ? I tried ./httpd/webapps/content_center/teamsite/auth/login.jsp but that did not seem to work.
THere are several others.
Thanks

You got the right JSP file... Maybe you did not force the JSP page to recompile. There is some old posting on DevNet about how to do it; in short, this is what you need to do:
1. Delete the login_java.jsp file under ./httpd/webapps/content_center/WEB-INF/jspc/com/interwoven/teamsite/auth/
2. in iw-home/install folder, run install_webapps.ipl -c content_center
Hopefully it will work after that.

I *think* that if you move the file to
iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/web/teamsite
IE.
iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/web/teamsite/auth/login.jsp
it will take care of it self when you run make_toolkit.ipl
You might have to play around.. I can't remember exactly where...

Good point. That should work, too!
Johnny
It works perfectly for upgrades etc as well as your file is in a separate location (and hopefully managed in a teamsite branch with the rest of your configuration changes).
