FormsPublishers 6.5 and IE 6.0

Around 5-6 months ago we had reported to Interwoven about an issue with templating. All of the templates which contained too many replicants were taking a long time to open in Internet Explorer 6.0 using Templating 5.5.2 SP5.

I recently saw that there is a webcast scheduled in December titled "FormsPublisher 6.5 - Replicants in FormAPI". Has there been any change in the newly released FormsPublisher that will improve the template performance in Internet Explorer 6.0.

There were improvements in 6.0 with regard to performance when VFE fields are used in templates - instead of requiring callouts and/or running into multiple ActiveX components starting up at the same time - TST(FP)6.x controls things so that there is only one active ActiveX component for VFE at any given time.

I'm guessing the improvement in 6.5 will have to do with greater accessibility/control over replicant instances with FormAPI - which is often asked for.

Whether either of these affect your situation - I couldn't say.
