Accented characters

Using Teamsite 6.1, on a Win2k server, whenever the input (to a DCT) contains accented characters (ie. french 'é') is entered, the resulting DCR shows 'é' in its place (whether the datacapture.cfg had UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1 XML declaration).

Should that DCR be called for re-edition, the text input field will show 'é' instead of the proper 'é'.

When I move the whole templating material over to a Solaris box, this behavior disappears, I get the expected results ('é' in, 'é' out).
Would anyone have a clue as to what may be wrongly configured/installed on the windows box?
