Teamsite 6.1 and Plumtree 5

My company is in the process of installing Plumtree 5, using Teamsite to publish the content. The Plumtree consultants can write a web service that will dynamically transform "Teamsite-based" links into "Plumtree" links, when a user is previewing content within Teamsite. Is there a documented (or undocumented) way to configure Teamsite to call this web service, retrieve the "Plumtree" link and then display the page to the user?
