add browser in vfe

hi everybody ,

i liked to create a add browser link button in visual format. if user click the button then it'll pop up a browser window where user can browse to their desired link. there will be a addlink button on that browser so when the user chose addlink it'll be added to the visual format textarea with a link to that web-page.

i think i need to come up with a custom java script, when the button will be pressed then it'll invoke the custom javascript . then user can add their link to the vf.

any wise suggestion?
