Hello all, im in need of urgent help. we are on TS 5.5.2 sp2 and DD/OD 5.6 (no service packs). our DB group recently upgraded to oracle 9i and all our database connections via inline callout no longer work. here are the steps i took after the upgrade to update my IW configuration:
1) updated database.xml to point to new SID and port
<database db="srvspdsql01:1XXX:XXXX" max-id-length="20" name="UseOracle9i" password="XXXXXXXX" real-update="yes" user="XXXXXXXX" vendor="oracle"/>
2) updated jmsconfig.xml url attribute to point to new SID and port
url="jdbc

racle:thin:
@srvspdsql01:1XXX:XXXX"
3) updated ODBC setting on windows 2000 server to point to new database (test connection works fine)
4) updated our ipls to point to new oracle instance
BEGIN {
$ENV {ORACLE_HOME} = 'D:\oracle\ora92';
$ENV {Path} = 'D:\oracle\ora92\bin;C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.3.1\bin;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\EMC\EDMBackup\Program;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Interwoven\lib;d:\iw-home\Interwoven\TeamSite\tools\db\sybase\sqlanywhere-7.0.1\win32\lib;d:\iw-home\Interwoven\Teamsite\bin;d:\iw-home\Interwoven\DataDeploy\bin;d:\iw-home\Interwoven\teamsite\iw-perl\bin;D:\iw-home\Interwoven\OpenDeploy\OpenDeployNG\bin';
$ENV {SystemRoot} = 'C:\WINNT';
}
now when i try to load any DCT w/ an inline callout, it hangs for hours. finally it will give this error message:
Templating Error Page
The required parameter iw_tdt is missing.
we guessed that the supplied DBI module isnt compatible with 9i, so finally we tried to update our DBI and ODBC pm modules from CPAN.org. now get this error:
Templating Error Page
An exception was thrown: Error building the requirements: DBI object version 1.13 does not match $DBI::VERSION 1.45 at d:\iw-home\Interwoven\TeamSite\iw-perl\lib/MSWin32-x86/DynaLoader.pm line 188. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at d:\iw-home\Interwoven\TeamSite\iw-perl\site\lib/DBI.pm line 256. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at d:/iw-home/Interwoven/TeamSite/httpd/iw-bin/inline_get_uniqueid.ipl line 39.
i dont want to update the perl modules as this seems to be unsupported and leading us down a slippery slope. any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!
