Displaying non-Latin characters in Worksite8 Dialo

Hi,

We have a problem in displaying non-Latin characters in Worksite8 Dialogs

While testing Worksite 8 I noticed the following: In New Profile Dialog or Edit Dialog or any other dialog, when picking a value from a lookup list which is in non-Latin characters the value is returned to screen as an empty string. Although displayed empty the value enters to the database correctly - in other words the problem is only in the displaying of non Latin characters.
There is no problem at all in free text fields such as description and comments.

In previous versions we didn't have such problems, it happens only in Worksite 8.

Any ideas??

Does it work with other languages except English?

Try changing input locale to the language of the string values you're trying to put into the dialogs.

you mean the database locale in the registry?

No, the input locale on the user machine where the client app is running (the dialogs pick up the font/code page info from the operating system settings)

The input locale on the client machine matches the local language I'm testing.

I also changed the input locale on the server machine and it didn't help.

The form accepts non latin characters if it is written manually but when the characters are returned from a pickup list (custom1, custom2, ..) they return as an empty string.

Has anyone tested it with other languages than English?
