Trasactional, Dynamic Website

Hi,

I work in a company that uses Teamsite for it's non-transactional brochureware websites (the sales related ones). We have also started using TS for elements of our transactional 'Online Banking' website. At present we only use it for static elements of dynamic pages (which are then brought into the page at run time using #include commands).

We have several problems with this:

1. Since the transactional site itself does not sit within Teamsite, it's difficult to see the pieces of managed content in context (with stylesheets and layout etc applied).

2. Since a lot of the site is dynamically created (depending on live user information) there's a limit to how much we can integrate TS into this environment.

Does anyone have similar experience in utilising TS in this way? It seems a fairly big area, that I can't see a way currently to get TS integrated into very much.

it's nothing unusual with what you are describing. This is called 'integration'.

it's possible (to a large extent) to integrate TeamSite's static contents with an app server.

If you provide some more info on the nature of your dynamic site, somebode could have an adbise on this.
